Annual CABC Foundation Scholarship Fund
Since 2019, the Chicago Aldermanic Black Caucus has been most proud of our scholarship fund program. We as a caucus are so excited to lift the power of young students and support them as they embark onto higher education.
The Chicago Aldermanic Black Caucus Foundation was formed in 2019 to ensure the coordination and collaboration amongst the black aldermen as they represent the issues most impactful to their black constituency. The 2021 Chicago Aldermanic Black Caucus Scholarships are non-renewable awards available to students pursuing a two year or four-year degree from an accredited university. The scholarships are $2,500 and are given to students to help alleviate the cost of tuition, fees, room and board, and books.
In order to be considered for these awards, an application and essay must be completed and submitted by no later than May 21, 2021. Awards will be notified to students on June 19, 2021. Students are required to report any outside scholarships to the school’s financial aid office.
The CABC will determine the selection of scholarships from an objective and non-discriminatory criteria. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
